- Can I use aftermarket struts?
- Yes, we have many customers use factory replacement struts such as Koni and D-Specs
- Can I use stock struts?
- Yes, all of our springs were designed using stock struts.
- Do I have to cut my bumpstops?
- No! You do not have to do anything to your bumpstops. With our STi kit we do supply 2 new front bumpstops.
- How much does the car drop?
- You will be getting approximately an inch drop all the way around the vehicle. The WRX will see slightly more in the front.
- What are your spring rates?
- We do not release our spring rates for multiple reasons. The most important is protecting the intellectual property of our engineers. A lot of time and money was spent on designing these springs and we do not want to put the numbers out there.
What we feel the most important reason is the numbers are misleading… These are progressive springs and the location of the switchover points and the way the rates compliment each other front to rear are not reflected in a spring rate. - What is the ride like?
- Our goal with all EPIC suspension kits is to offer a factory style ride with with added performance and control. All of our kits are something every member of the staff would consider "daily drivable"
- What should I alignment specifications should I use?
- For most people we recommend factory alignment.
If you are looking to get the most out of your suspension use these alignment specs.
Standard Bar:
- Front camber -1.25deg
- Front toe 0 deg
- Rear toe 0.2deg toe-in total (0.1deg per side)
22mm Epic bar or equivalent:
- Front camber -1.25 deg (or maximum negative)
- Front toe 0 deg
- Rear toe 0.3deg toe-in total (0.15deg per side)
